Getting There

Though there are also sufficient and non-expensive places of accommodation in Englewood, the truth is that getting to the Grove City Motel is much more convenient if you have your auto at your disposal. More ideally, Englewood is one of those beautiful Gulf Coast Florida towns that can be best seen with the help of one's car, and the motel is perfectly driver-oriented. It sits shoulder-to-shoulder to a main local highway, South McCall Road (SR 776), which leads directly onto the main Interstate 75. It therefore makes an extremely easy and stress-free stop for anyone doing a Florida road trip. The prime benefit of the property, free of charge, at-your-door parking is convenience.

For air travelers, it’s pretty good whichever is your nearest airport. The closest is Punta Gorda Airport (PGD), this is not a big airport but at least can help you with budget airlines, and is approximately half an hour by car. A much better and very popular one is Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ), to the north of the region and it takes about 45 to 50 minutes to reach there. The other major regional center is Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) near Fort Myers, generally around an hour and 15 minutes to its south. The Largest Number of Flights is into Sarasota or Ft. Myers.

Renting a car at any of these airports is not only logical but necessary for visiting the Englewood area. It frees you from being tied down to lodgings, allowing you to stay at any motel of your choice and visit the many beaches, state parks, and delightful small towns along the coast. Although there are a few taxi and ride-hailing services “on call” from the airports, such a long fare would be very expensive for the journey and you’d still be having to make a decision once landing in Englewood, renting a car far outshines these alternatives. This motel can cater to the visitors coming through any airport since public transport is out of control of travelers.
